 The Rebels didn't waste much time getting on the board,
scoring the game's first points less than three minutes into the
game on a 21-yard pass from Jace Edwards to Matthew Awbrey.
Then after giving up a field goal to the Mustangs, Lee scored again
on a 90-yard kickoff return from Tevin Collier. Less than four
minutes later, Austin Jumper scored on a 12-yard run. Both Lee
touchdown drives spanned only three plays. The Rebels took a
27-9 lead into the break. The second half came down to a
defensive battle, as each team only managed to score a touchdown
each.
