Jace Edwards went off for his best passing performance of the season and was one of two 100-yard rushers for Lee in the 35-32 victory for Lee in Amarillo's Dick Bivins Stadium.  Running with authority and passing with poise, Edwards racked up 115 yards on the ground and 176 through the air, including a 28-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter on a fourth-and-two that put the game out of reach.

After a 7-yard gain on first down, Edwards faked a handoff then threw to Mario Moreno, who took it and bolted down the field for the score.  The touchdown pass was Edwards’ second of the game after completing a 45-yard bomb to Christian Coggan in the second quarter just before crossing the line of scrimmage.  Helping balance Lee’s offense was Austin Jumper, who rushed for 126 yards on 15 carries. It was the first time this season Lee had multiple 100-yard rushers.
